Children often face trouble concentrating. At present, a large number of children are being termed with ADD/ADHD. There are many ways by which parents can help their children to focus and these include improving sleep habits, effective exercise and proper nutrition. Children from the age 2—4 require a minimum of eleven to thirteen hours of sleep while those form age 5—8 need a minimum of ten hours of sleep. A nutritional breakfast helps your children to focus better and such a breakfast may include fruits, eggs, other protein items, oatmeal and milk. Children should avoid caffeine. Parents must also involve their children into regular exercise which may include walking, riding the bicycle or playing at the park. However, if all these tactics have failed then the parents should consult physicians to evaluate their kid’s medical health.
