Choose a toothbrush for kids

A key factor to a good tooth brushing is the choice of a suitable brush. If you choose a hard brush, too large or uncomfortable for the child, you can not properly clean his mouth, raising the possibility that the teeth have cavities or stains.
Good dental hygiene will be able to showcase healthy teeth free of tartar and caries.
For a correct choice of brush please observe the following tips:

- The toothbrush should be small, so you can easily move inside the mouth.
- The toothbrush bristles should be soft and flexible. The hard bristles can damage both teeth and gums.
- It is recommended that the brush head is rounded so that it reaches all corners of the mouth.
- The handle of the toothbrush is better if the rubber grip to facilitate it.
- The brush should be changed every 3 months or earlier if it looks worn.

The timing of the brushing should turn into something pleasant and funny moments. Find a bench or something similar so that the child can get on and look in the mirror while brushing teeth. Always buy fluoride containing toothpaste. Tell him to check his smile after brushing teeth. Finally, remind him that never shares your toothbrush with other children.
